Some people buy this bike that aren't ready for a bicycle of any kind. budgetbicycleboards.freeforums.net/thread/28/ready-budget-bicycleI thought I posted a top 10 list of reasons a person may not be ready for a budget bike. It included fixing a flat, chain falling off, left pedal falling off, etc. A large percentage of those folks will buy this bike too. It's also at the low end of the amp hour & torque curves, hence the price tag. There will always be those that buy a Ford Escort then complain it doesn't handle like a Porsche. |

Amazon reviews are some of the Worst! "Tire won't hold air, so I returned it. They expected ME to pay shipping!! REEEEEeeeee!!!"
I'll bet the Hyper is a fun ride. It's one of the best looking budget e-bikes around!

Overpriced electric bike. "overpriced" is subjective, I know. To haul a 200lb person home on a 45 lb semi-mountain ebike after a hard ride, your gonna need at least a 48 volt system & 12-15 Ahr battery. That takes a few bucks. (Forget the watts ratings. Like LED light ratings, its misdirection for most people.) |

Was estimated to be delivered today but haven't even received an email confirming shipment. Will do some checking. On-Track is the absolute worst shipping service in the US & Walmart uses them frequently.

After talking to Wally customer service and told that, as far as they could see, the order was still pending, I got the email below yesterday evening. An omen? Karma? Eh - just as well I guess.

Customer service at it's finest.. Even I am disappointed. I know you would have given us the straight facts about the bike. Would have been a popular thread for sure! The guys over at the other place kept trying, they eventually got the Hyper Hydroforms and Schwinn Axums. Maybe this one will reappear as well. Hang in there. It might show up again. |

i am sure it will be back. probably ran afoul of covid19 or tariffs or some such foolishness. but now they know they'll sell at that price. it'll be back.
