Budget Bicycle Boards

We'll try to post only bikes we’ve personally given the once-over in a store or elsewhere. We ask that members do the same. Ours may usually be from Walmart or Target but will always be brick & mortar stores. If you shop on-line at Walmart.com, be sure to select “Walmart” as the sole retailer. It’s the only way to be be sure you’ll have fewer hassles & Walmart backing should you have problems with a purchase. Never use 3rd party retailers listed on the site.

This is a close copy of the original. Classic Columbia style rack, high sweep bars, springer fork plus a Columbia emblazoned tank make it perfect for a nostalgic rider, so long as they're not a velo purist (one who would insist on finding an original & restoring it

Shorter guys might not like it as it's a high leg swing over the rack & top tube is pretty high too. Overall, it's a nicely done. Use a high grade car polish on it a couple times per year & it will keep shining. Santa may just bring me one of these. Walmart link

His had big extra baskets back and another rack on the front wheel for shopping.

Admin Czar: yes but was gone for 3 weeks & came home to a dove nest with eggs in my bike shop. It's right on top of my tool box too. Dumb birds but it's the safest spot on the property. Totally fenced in & covered. Mama is smarter than most

Admin Czar: A 6 cylinder 1964 Ford Econoline here. That was about as good as it got for room. The inevitable exhaust manifold leak might explain some of the brain damage. But in winter it was easy to pop the "hood" for manual carb choke
