got a great deal on one of these, put it on the peugeot. haven't ridden it much yet because it's rainy but here are the initial impressions. so far it seems very comfortable.
this saddle is unusual in that it is split all along its length, the two sides being held together by substantial plastic at the bottom, so it should be exceptionally flexible and provide plenty of clearance for the sensitive parts. it also seems to be well padded, allegedly with multiple layers of foam and gel, all wrapped up in sturdy-looking synthetic cover. the rails, well, they're shiny steel with some calibrations on them, which i promptly ignored. i'll update as i put some miles on it, right now it looks like it will suit my need, which is a comfortable ride.

since i haven't ridden it for six months or more, i gave the peugeot away. and with it went the seat. so i ordered up another one, paid full price, $65 to put on the vortex e-bike because i'm getting up multiple times at night to pee and the dr says my PSAs are high, and right there on the list of causes of high PSAs next to antihistamine usage is riding a bicycle. so i've quit using antihistamines and hopefully this will solve the bicycle seat facet of the Public Service Announcement elevation.
