Is it cushy or firm?

Fairly firm I'd say - not as cushy as a stock schwinn cruiser but not as hard as many of the aftermarket road saddles either. For me it's the baby bear. Just right. If anything I'd say it might be questionable how well the cover wears, say, compared to a Velo (which is twice the price or more)

How does that cutout feel? Does it take pressure off your junk? I ask because on long rides, some seats make my junk numb....

Seriously tho, it's so hard to say since every ass & local naughty bit are different. The bike only gets around on the nearby 60 acres or so. I did have that problem on the Deception but the Velo Plush helped a lot. Some people consider it too wide. If I know I'm gonna be on a long mostly flatish XC ride, with a lot of sitting, I wear padded riding shorts. That cures the numbness.
Might also try moving forward or back on the seat rail. I think restricting the femoral artery is often misinterpreted as pinched nerves on long rides. Its a huge artery & the nose of some seats hit it perfectly wrong.

Thanks! When I go mountain biking, I wear a padded liner that goes under my shorts. That helps a bit, but I still have issues sometimes. My buddy has a seat that is made to fix the issue, but they aren't cheap, and are really odd looking...
