For Sale: This bike started as a regular blue Mongoose Beast. I like to weld, and needed a project, so I cut the entire rear triangle off and reworked it. I have also cut the head tube off a few times and played with the angles. The result is a really fun fat bike, that isn't horribly heave and that LOVES to wheelie! Its only 35.24 LBS, which isn't too bad for a steel FatGoose I would prefer to sell it locally, in Orange County, CA just so the buyer can check it out in person. Its a fun bike, but it has its share of nicks and scratches. XTR derailer 170mm Qr wheels 50mm rims 120tpi Vee rubber V8 tires setup tubeless Avid juicy hydraulic brakes with 203mm rotors Red anodized headset with cartridge bearings Sealed bottom bracket Older lx cranks shaved down for just an inner ring Salsa Enabler fork Bontrager bars FSA seatpost Deore shifter 22 t ring 11/34 cassette 68 degree head angle 72 seat angle 17-1/4” from bottom bracket center to axle center $350 obo

Damn, man! How can you part with it after a build/rebuild like that. Yeah, I get it. Couldn't do it but I get it

best of luck to you. lately, i've been wondering what i could get for my "lightened" denali. by the time i add shipping costs, i suspect i'd be better off just to keep it, even though i never ride it.

Thanks!
Bike sold tonight. First guy bought it. I only got $100, but I never rode it and I’m just glad to have the garage space!

resale wasn't on my mind when i bought the denali. when i "found" violet, the denali became redundant. i'll keep my eye open for some deserving kid to gift it to.

Ya, Its really hard to make money on bikes. Unless its a desirable vintage bike of some sort. I picked up a 90s AMP Research MTB frame last week for $70. I hope to get $4-500 for it when I sell it as a complete bike.

i wouldn't know a "vintage" AMP research bike if it slapped me upside the head. are they really selling for that much?
